Cross Frontier Education is an educational, non-profit company involved in the reforming process of the educational system in Romania.
Its main project is currently the teacher training program - Teacher to Teacher România, a European Union funded project to stimulate educational transition in Romania. It is envisioned as a consortium of voluntarily-affiliated schools, administrators, and educators whose passion is educational excellence. The program will engage in training activities for over 1000 teachers representing 68 schools from Bucharest. In this respect, more than 57.000 students will benefit through the instruction of their teachers and directors regarding modern teaching strategies and methods, a European approach towards education, strategic planning, school management and ICT. The T2TR program involves the change of teaching approaches as well as the mentality of the teachers by considering the teacher as the vital, dynamic factor to shape the destiny of their students. The project promotes the newest European teaching and educational management strategies together with new resources such as Geoff Petty’s international best-seller: “Teaching Today” or the “Hot Potatoes” educational software, the newest didactic hardware equipments in use and modern training facilities.
The company is the driving force behind Queen Elizabeth College, an international school based on the English curriculum that is purpose-planned to become the best educational delivery site in Romania. Aiming to develop the Romanian educational system and its quality in accordance with the European standards, Teacher to Teacher România and Acorns British Style Nursery will collaborate on a “Early Years” component.
Dedicated to improving the quality of education in Romania, Cross Frontier Education will continually develop its projects together with its partners, as a long term player on the Bucharest educational landscape
